I am a qualified Psychotherapist, recognized by The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society.
At SJC Therapy Ltd, I believe that every journey towards mental well-being begins with a single step. I offer counselling online, by phone and in person throughout the United Kingdom. This format allows you to enjoy the comfort of your own space, combined with the flexibility of no travel time or associated expenses. Or theres the option of in person if you prefer.
I also offer in person Counselling for people who prefer meeting in person. This can be easier for people who find it hard to have the environment elsewhere where they feel they can talk freely in a confidential space.

I do this by tailoring the therapy to your unique needs and preferences to aid in progressing towards your desired outcome. Whether you are facing personal challenges or seeking growth, I am a dedicated professional here to listen and support you.

My Story
My journey began with a simple yet profound idea: to help those struggling with mental health challenges. Having faced similar trials in my youth, I found the support I needed, and that inspired me to offer the same compassion to others. I understand the overwhelming feeling of needing someone to talk to when life becomes too much.
I am dedicated to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for a range of concerns. I am here to listen, and together, we can challenge limiting beliefs—thoughts that hold you back—while facilitating positive change in your life. We can also explore mindfulness as a part of your healing journey.
My passion for psychotherapy was ignited by its unique and gentle approach, which addresses the root causes of issues.
My training and experience has taught me to support clients in finding a sense of peace and contentment in life and manage challenges. Also its taught me ways to help my clients feel empowered and believe in themselves and to conquer fears that had previously held them back from experiencing joy and confidence.
I cherish every interaction with my clients; it's a fulfilling journey that I am grateful to be a part of.

Training and Knowledge
Before my three years of study at Chrysalis, I earned a BSc in Psychology through the Open University, a pursuit that spanned six years. This program encompassed various modules and case studies on counselling practices and their influence on mental health and well-being. I delved into different therapeutic approaches and examined the intricate relationship between mental and physical health. My studies also included an exploration of how attachment styles shape development, along with theories related to belief formation and group dynamics, supported by case studies and analyses of social experiments and personal narratives in counselling and mental health services.
I hold a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy which is recognized by the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society. I studied at Chrysalis a training provider thats been training for many years and well praised for its quality. This training involved 100 hours of both in-person and online sessions with volunteer clients, addressing a variety of challenges such as low self-esteem, weight management, general health improvement, and overcoming fears and feelings of loneliness. Together, we navigated their obstacles, reflecting on our shared experiences throughout the process.
As part of my professional development, I volunteered with the Mind Mental Health Charity, where I engaged with clients some who were neurodiverse and with physical disabilities facing different issues.
Currently, I volunteer at Cruse Bereavement Charity, providing support to individuals experiencing loss. It is incredibly fulfilling to assist them in navigating these difficult life transitions, offering a comforting, confidential, and welcoming environment for self-expression.
